God Notions

Good Morning God,

I wake and want to speak to You my heart’s gratitude, but my words are insufficient. You are more than mere words can express. You are higher than my thoughts; my mind cannot envelop You.

You are boundless. You are perfect. You are creative.

LORD, out of Your wisdom for Your Creation, You created time. Yet, time does not bind You. Perfect is Your timing in all things.

Perfect are You, LORD. Nothing can be added to You nor subtracted; You are complete.

Your justice is absolute, Your discipline exact. I am overwhelmed by Your mercy and grace.

You fill me to overflowing, and my heart sings with joy!

I thank You for this day.

Lord, please don’t let me waste this day. Draw me near and open my heart to Your ways. Let me see as You see and love as You love.

Help me, Lord, to die to myself, that You can live through me and that those who meet me today see You, not me.

Lord draw those who don’t know you near. Soften their heart that they would seek You and accept You and Your Son, Christ Jesus, that they might have life everlasting too.
