I am an ordinary woman, loving an extraordinary God…
I am an average woman, seeking daily how to walk through this world faithful to Jesus. My husband and I find blending families something we can only count on God to guide us through. We enjoy the company of four young grandchildren as much as possible, fitting in the time as best we can between working fulltime, caring for our parents, and keeping up with housework and laundry.
I started writing this blog under the advice for publishing a children’s book I am writing. Nine months later, “God Notions” has become my passion. I have learned even more to trust God and rely on Him for my every need. I have connected with others whose passion for Christ has inspired and encouraged me. From the depths of my heart, I want to thank you for the kindness and support you have shown.
Being transparent and vulnerable in “God Notions” is something I promise my best to do. Honestly, my hope is that God is glorified through my sharing. I do hope that you who read my weekly post find encouragement, fellowship, and kinship. My prayer is that God will draw us nearer, growing in us the desire to know Him more, growing in our faith and obedience to His Son, Christ Jesus. I know my dependence on Him has grown even more these past few months since starting, “God Notions”. Besides being my Lord and Savior, Jesus has been my one true constant source of comfort, courage, and wonder. He is my friend, my love, my life.
So, here I am. An ordinary woman, now living an extraordinary life because of this extraordinary God I love and serve.
